Where Did We Come From & Where Does Our Ministry Take Us?
Our choir got its start as a small group of men brought together to sing at one church for one Christmas service. Since then, we have grown to become an interdenominational choir of men from a variety of Protestant and Catholic churches who desire a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
We are also a member choir of The Festivals of Male Voice Praise (FMVP). In 1934, the first Male Voice Praise festival commenced through the vision of James McRoberts of Glasgow, Scotland, who sought to establish a fellowship of male voice choirs. He envisioned separate choirs that operated independently throughout the year coming together for fellowship and witness on an annual basis for a combined Festival of Male Voice Praise.
FMVP is active in Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, Canada, and Australia. We are proud to be the first chapter of FMVP in the United States!
